Who We Care FOR

The Specialized Living Center is an intermediate care facility for developmentally disabled adults that provides training, supervision, and medical care in a residential community. We have been serving residents and their families since 1979 and continue to offer the highest standard of support and care possible. We are located in a quiet residential area of Swansea, Illinois and right next door to the Melvin Price Park. We encourage our residents to interact with the community and learn skills that are essential with everyday living.
